Last week we received Oopsy Dasiy Baby and is so excited to have it at Bella Bambini.  These skirts and tops are perfect for birthdays and any holiday.  We currently have several options for birthday/photos and two different options for the 4th of July.  The skirts come in newborn- size 8.  If we don’t have what you need, we can special order it.

I’ve been a bad blogger.  It seems like I get on a roll and will write ahead and then something comes up and I get WAY behind.  Tonight I was sitting outside and my neighbors came over…..we discovered that we “knew” each other via the Bella Bambini blog.  So- I was inspired to get back at it. 

Our new location has been great!  We’ve had many new customers come in and check us out and we’ve had our amazing “old” customers visit as well.  We really appreciate all of you and hope you are having a great start to summer!

Happy Memorial Day!  We hope you have a wonderful day remembering and honoring those who have served our country.  We are very thankful for you all!

Ladies, mark your calendars — we’re teaming up with Bella Bambini to throw the first-ever Chambanamoms.com Spring Fling!

The Champaign children’s boutique has relocated to a new and even more fantastic space at 1422 S. Neil St., and at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 15 it will open its doors for chambanamoms.com readers. Join us for an evening of spirited conversation, sumptuous snacks (and cake!) and some pretty awesome shopping.

Because we love Chambana so much — and we know you do, too — we’ll be collecting a suggested (not required) $5 donation to benefit the Champaign County YMCA  2010 Strong Kids Campaign. All donations will go directly to benefit the program, which which provides financial support for local youth and families to participate in programs they could otherwise not afford.

I can’t believe Sebastian is 1!!  I can’t believe that it’s been a year since he came.  I was so scared to have a boy- I thought I wouldn’t know what to do with a boy after having a girl, but to my surprise- we figured it out.

My pregnancy with Sebastian was the worst experience of my life (another entire post could be written about that), but we got the sweetest, most cuddly, loud, lovable boy at the end of it.  Maggie loves having someone chase after her and someone to play with.  I’m so happy that he’s part of our family- he’s a perfect fit.

Well we are moved!  I can’t believe that it happened in such a short time (or least it seemed fast)!

We closed our doors last Monday at Knollwood and then re-opened on Thursday at our new location- 1422 S. Neil St.  I think that the hardest part of the move was that we were starting with a blank canvas.  When you move into a house- there are at least rooms that things are suppose to go in.  Such as; kitchen things in the kitchen and bathroom things in the bathroom.  We had to find homes for everything in this awesome space.  And we did it!  That doesn’t mean that we won’t be moving things around often, but it does mean that we are happy with the outcome of the move.

Personally, I really couldn’t have made it through last week without a lot of help.  I got the most help from my awesome husband who watched kids and did all of “my jobs” plus his at home.  As a mom it was hard to balance working at the store and trying to feel like I was being there for my kids.  This balancing act isn’t one that I have mastered, but I’m hoping that it gets easier (if you are a mom- you are probably laughing right now because you know that it never gets all figured out).

Professionally, I couldn’t have made it last week without a lot a help and great customers.  Thanks to everyone who helped from moving a cabinet to dusting a shelf and to everyone who came in and saw us this past weekend.  We wouldn’t be Bella Bambini without you.  See you soon!

Sunday 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.

We are in the process of moving….we’ve been working really hard this past weekend and things are coming together.  Bella Mia is completely moved and they will be closed the next few days.  Bella Bambini will be OPEN Monday from 9 until 3 p.m.  Then we will make our final move and re-open at the new location Wednesday or Thursday. 

If you need an easter dress or something snazzy before later this week- come on in and get it Monday morning.
